The Maud Hart Lovelace Society was established to promote and preserve the works of Maud Hart Lovelace, author of the Betsy-Tacy series and other children's and adult novels.

Our objectives are to urge HarperCollins to continue to publish or re-publish the books and to raise funds to restore Lovelace's childhood home in Mankato.

We sponsor events that educate our members and promote the Betsy-Tacy books to a new generation of young readers.
